Psychological Operations Course for P(S)O [MEoM-PSYOPSC/P(S)O]

This course is designed to enable officers as well as NCOs to carry out their duties as:
Specialists within a PSYOPS support element or a PSYOPS task force PSYOPS staff officers or nco‘s in national or multinational HQs PSYOPS experts advising commanders on all PSYOPS issues at tactical and operational level

As contribution to a comprehensive training approach, the “Expert on Mission” - Courses of AUTINT include the training of Liaison-, CIMIC-, Field Humint- and PSYOPS-elements.
The students of the different modules attend the same lectures and exercises in the first week (basic module) and continue afterwards with their specialised training.



After completing the course the participants are expected to be able to perform their respective duties as PsyOps expert in the framework of a multinational mission.

PsyOps multinational planning process
Specific contributions to the military decision making process
Interaction and coordination within the InfoOps domain
Basics in product development
Television, Radio, Print
Campaign planning
Basics in target audience analysis
Communication training
Practical exercise based on a fictitious scenario
Cultural awareness and behaviour
Counter propaganda measures


Military Officers from Rank OF-1 to OF-4
NCOs from Rank OR-5 to OR-9

Level of English:

Officers: NATO level 3/3/3/2 in accordance with STANAG 6001
NCOs: NATO level 2/2/2/2 in accordance with STANAG 6001
