AIM:

 

This course is designed to enable officiers and NCOs to carry out their duties as specialist within Tactical PSYOPS Teams (TPT), to inform about principles, tasks and procedures of Tactical PSYOPS Teams (TPT) and advising commanders on all TPT issues at tactical level in the framework of Peace Operations.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

TPT basics
TPT concepts and precedures
Formats and reports
Equipment introduction and training
Use of interpreters
Interaction with target audience analysis
Product dissemination
Advising commanders on TPT integration


REQUIREMENTS:


Military Officers from Rank OF-1 to OF-2
NCOs from Rank OR-5 to OR-9


Level of English:

NATO level 2 in accordance with STANAG 6001

AIM:


Graduates of this course possess a basic overview of the legal frameworks and especially gain knowledge in the practical dimension on their respective level on the protection of civilians in armed conflicts. They can provide the military, police and civilian contributions to international and national crisis management in their respective level and fields of responsibility, are aware of the special threats to and the needs of civilians and can apply tactically-oriented and field-suitable measures.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

 

After completing the course the participants are expected to be able to perform their respective duties in the framework of Peace Support Operations.

 

Course graduates are especially proficient in the following fields of competence:


basic knowledge on topic-specific legal fundamentals

inter-institutional understanding concerning the roles and responsibilities of the different actors in international crisis management

ability to perform concrete threats and requirements analyses regarding the different target groups

ability to plan and to carry out effective protection measures for the benefit of the civilian population affected by armed conflicts,

capability to implement gained relevant knowledge in practical case studies and tactical scenarios.

AIM:


This course is aimed at enabling to carry out CIMIC tasks and to develop professional knowledge and skills of Officers and NCOs for an appointment as Branch Head or Staff Officer or Staff Member for CIMIC in a national or multinational HQ in a P(S)O.
As contribution to a comprehensive training approach, the “Expert on Mission” - Courses of AUTINT include the training of Liaison-, CIMIC-, Field Humint- and PSYOPS-elements. The students of the different modules attend the same lectureand exercises in the first week (basic module) and continue afterwards with their specialised training.
